With over 60 international caps as a member of the coaching and technical staff for both the Finland and Jamaica national teams, John brings extensive experience in football management, analysis, and talent development.
John’s recent role as the Men’s First Team Assistant Coach and Head of FIFA Talent Development for the Jamaica Football Federation underscores his ability to enhance player and team performance on an international stage. He has been instrumental in Jamaica’s rise in the FIFA World Rankings, guiding the team to the CONCACAF Gold Cup and Nations League semi-finals. He also successfully secured FIFA funding to advance talent development in Jamaica and has built strategic partnerships with leading clubs in England, Germany, and France to foster player development.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, John is recognized for his expertise in football analysis and consulting. During his tenure with the Football Association of Finland, John played a pivotal role as the Opposition Analyst for the FIFA World Cup Qualifying campaign, where his tactical insights and comprehensive reports were critical in preparing the team for international fixtures. He also served as a key consultant for various clubs, including AIK, where he managed data-driven analysis and performance evaluations to optimize player and team outcomes.
John’s contributions also extend to his role as a Certification Inspector for Swedish Elite Football, where he conducts audits of elite clubs to ensure high performance standards. His previous experience as the CEO of GameInsight, where he led the development of a club management platform, further highlights his capacity for strategic and operational consulting in sports management.
